Is there anybody that wants to go to this that hasn't managed to get a ticket? My cousin was supposed to be coming but he has to go into hospital over the weekend and can't attend now so I'm left with a spare ticket at the last minute. I don't want anything extra for it, I'm not some ticket tout, face value only. I've got 4 tickets and 3 of us are going so if you want to attend you'd have to meet us there or arrange for us to pick you up on the way (if you are fairly local to West Yorkshire as I'm setting off from Bradford). I will be at the album listening party tomorrow if anyone wants to sort out this ticket and would be a shame for it to go to waste unused if an Embrace fan wants to go.

Have you posted it on the FB groups? Yes, got a taker. One of the kids from my little boys schools has a music loving dad that's in a band so he's coming with us. Looking forward to it. Did you go to the Album Listening Party last night? I was the one on the end nearest the merchandise, front row. Merchandise Mickey did a great job, if he worked at McDonalds he'd have all his stars by now.

I didn't. My daughter has only 2 wks till her due date and there is no way on earth I am missing this baby being born. Therefore I also didn't get tickets for the SG. I went to the Manics on the 1st and was on pins fretting I was too far away.
Glad you got someone to go. It will be a great experience.

Some of us dressed as Zombies, some of us in combat gear. Zombies chased the people in combat gear who started at a different location to turn them into Zombies. It was quite a funny sight seeing zombies wandering round Holmfirth in broad daylight while the locals didn't really bat an eyelid. One elderly couple did ask us what was going on to which we replied "Shhhh it's a secret" Then followed an amazing gig.

Can anyone tell us about the gig ? www.examiner.co.uk/news/west-yorkshire-news/embrace-zombie-secret-gig-holmfirth-6931476 The gig itself was excellent. The set had a number of the new tracks and old classics, along with Decades and Bullets from the Refugees EP which came as a pleasant surprise. They added OBF back into the set and ended with TGWO which was lovely. Rick has been a bit unwell, tonsilitis or a throat infection? Madeline was supposed to be in the set but was replaced by Refugees so they obviously decided his voice was up to it, it sounded great. Follow You Home seemed to be a massive crowd pleaser and was chanted repeatedly at quiet moments. There was a great energy from both the band and the crowd which led to a great atmosphere in the venue. I was bouncing about with Gemma and Sue so I probably missed some of the finer details but as far as I'm concerned it was a really great gig.
