Back in September of last year I had the chance to hear some of the new material. The one that really stood out for me and stuck in my head for a long time was one with a kind of funky vibe and falsetto chorus. That turned out to be Quarters.
Hearing it again at SGs really cemented it as a firm favourite for me. It's the soaring "I feel myself surrender, I'm your defender" part that really got me.
I love that they took a risk with it and I would really love for it to be released. I think it's the song that could really turn people's perceptions of the band on their heads.

I know I'm going with the unpopular choice, but SAM has become my favorite. The heavy guitars and industrial feel is something Embrace should have done years ago.

I'm amazed 'In The End' hasn't got any votes. It's impossible not to sing the chorus at the top of your voice.

Although I prefer Refugees, In The End is one of my favourites and was surely the obvious choice for first single.

Make It Last, I Can't Come Down, Follow You Home, and I Run should never have been singles. New Adam New Eve, Wish Em All Away, Keeping, Sainted, and others should have been.

I can't agree that NANE would have done well on radio, and I wouldn't have been any happier with WEAA than any of your bad single examples. Keeping and Sainted though. Yup. I think my top three should've been singles are IYNBILWA, Someday...and the way things are going, probably At Once. Other than that, Keeping. Oh, and obviously Higher Sights.

I voted for At Once but I think the votes for DNA (which is a great song) show just how daft it was for that song to be the "itunes exclusive" track. Surely people who actually go to a record store and buy a CD deserve to have the full album? I understand this is the way the music industry works but it still doesn't make it right.
