Hi, just found this new forum. Have been on previous forums on occasion. I have been an Embrace follower from the start. Their first album is still my all time favourite album, by any artist. I find it quite timeless.

Another former member here... I think my previous account has been removed, but hey, no probs, with all of the "interesting" discussion surrounding the new album and live gigs, its good to be back again Another long time fan, albeit, I haven't been to as many gigs as I'd like...

Welcome back! It's a brand new forum, the old one was wiped so we've all had to re-register.

Thanks for the welcome and explanation hayleybailey... I thought it looks different here, so that explains my inability to log in before rejoining

Hello fellow Embrace fans! I hope I'm not the only fan in the U.S. Here in the States, no one has ever heard of Embrace. Disappointing that they never got big in the U.S. I discovered Embrace through Coldplay. I'd heard that Coldplay had written a song for Embrace. I was surfing the net and found Embrace's version of Gravity. I was impressed, and I became a fan! (BTW, I'm very surprised that my username was not already taken by someone else.)

There's loads of fans in the US. I think there's even a Facebook group for them.

Xxx This is equally inviting, it just kinda broke away from the official stuff. Still same folk here just not as many sadly x

Was on the old board many years ago. Living in beautiful California now. Didn't listen to Embrace for a long time and then just discovered their last album which is growing on me.
Forgot to add, good to see a lot of old names still on here.

It's called "Embrace Fans North America" - if you can't find it get in touch with me privately and I'll sort you out. Did you manage to get to any of the recent gigs in California?

Hello Embrace board.
I wonder if an expert can help me out.
I bought the Fierce Panda AYGGP 7" the week it came out, and got pretty obsessed pretty quickly. Saw them at that first 100 Club gig in London along with every music publication employee and record company A&R.
I cant remember what happened over the next couple of months, but me and a friend managed to go to the shoot for the AYGGP video, where the band played us a secret quick gig on a basketball court under a flyover in London. Was a brilliant evening, and we made it into the final cut of the video. So here i am, 20 years later, reminiscing, and im searching YouTube and all i can find is that weird death row promo they made for America. The original UK video is nowhere to be seen?? DOES ANYONE HAVE A COPY OF THAT?? Would love to see it again!
thanks!
