Yeah, Waitrose online. I use all the meal deal offers and BOGOFS on the website too when ordering and always spend less than if we went to Asda/Tesco etc. I find Sainsburys awful, expensive and there is never anything on the shelves. Ocado price and service has always been excellent to us since we began using them for our Christmas shop this year.

On the topic of supermarkets I hate old people in supermarkets during my lunch time. I get 1/2 hr to get some lunch but if I go to the nearest Morrisons for food I spend 15 mins of it queuing behind a load of grey heads. They should be given a curfew from the hours of 12pm-2pm so the rest of us can avoid them. They have all day to go shopping, surely keeping them out of the way for 2 hours isn't too much to ask. If you only get 30 mins for lunch why on earth would you want to spend it walking round Morrisons, regardless of the pensioners slowing you down. Bring lunch from home is my advice. More time for you.

More time for you. I like to get out of the office for half an hour and unfortunately where I work is very limited to numerous Greggs and Wilds. If you want pasties or pies every day you're fine but there is more choice at the Morrisons nearby.

People who don't respect the elderly....we will all be old one day and we all deserve to be respected.....sorry to sound holier than thou , but having watched the recent programme 'Protecting Our Parents' ,which made me weep at the way our society treats the elderly ( a growing proportion of the population) I now feel quite sensitive about the subject. I'm not sure if that was aimed at my post or just generally, hence why I put the emoticons at the end to try and highlight it was firmly tongue in cheek. I haven't seen that programme so not sure what you mean exactly by the way society treats the elderly. I do know one thing that I don't agree with and that is elderly having to sell their houses and use all their life savings to pay for going in a home, just seems wrong when most have put into the economy all their life or fought for the country in wars and are given very little help when they get older. Doesn't give them a right to hold me up in Morrisons though.

As if I've shopped in one of those frozen food places where the cardboard box offers more nutritional value than the 'food' within in.

People who seem to think that the seat next to them on the bus/train is there specifically for their handbag/shopping/backpack etc.

I miss Waitrose. Wah!
Wymondham Waitrose used to sell of all their fancy food at the end of the day for next to nothing. It was all ecellent too. I'd also really like some of their little mini lemon meringue or banoffee pies too, although it's been six years since I had any so I'm probably over-exaggerating their loveliness.

People who seem to think that the seat next to them on the bus/train is there specifically for their handbag/shopping/backpack etc. Got on a packed train yesterday morning and a woman had a bag and laptop bag on the seat next to her, with the tray table down littered with her tea bag and empty cup. When I politely asked if I could sit down, she sighed loudly and said "you'll have to give me a few minutes". I stood and waited as she faffed about with her bags, eventually I gave up and walked down the carriage and found another seat. I'll sit my bag next to me but on a busy train I always lift it onto my knee when the train pulls into a station in case anyone wants to sit down.
