This weekend has mostly been spent doing nothing. Yesterday was particularly lazy and involved an afternoon nana nap.
Today was church, shopping then I took H down to the park where we met up with our friends, he got to run around and I got to sit and chat and drink hot chocolate, 3 hours later and I was frozen to the core.
I need to iron school uniform, and eat jaffa cakes.

I'm trying to decide if it's too early to go to bed. I've just had a nap and I am headachey.

Lovely trip to York railway museum with the family today and loved the mini train ride more than my son. Plus I felt very smug as I actually paid the 'suggested' £3 donation.
Up at 3am for a work flight so an early end to the weekend, at least Ronnie wrapped the snooker up early for me!

So glad it's Friday and it's payday!
Going to treat myself to a really nice bottle of Saint Emilion later.

This weekend I'm going to be an oasis of tranquility and tolerance. I also plan to pig out on vegetables without vomiting. Rock and roll.

Tonight I'm relaxing as my body aches from helping Vanessa move yesterday. I took a double bed apart and put it back together myself!
Tomoz I will be helping Ness paint/clean/sort and then hopefully getting to Oddbins for decent vino.
Sunday we are either going out or helping again depending on how we feel.

My wknd has already gone tits up after bumping into a car in the cinema car-park. Don't think there was any damage on the other car except for some paint on the side bumper. Left a note with my details, see if they get back to me. What an idiot.

This afternoon was spent eating chicken liver pate and buying lovely food at Balgove Larder, then a quiet evening. Hopefully a full nights sleep (Eve permitting) then a lazy morning before heading up to my mum and dads for the night and a Burns Supper - Cockaleekie Soup, Haggis Neeps and Tatties then Clootie Dumpling! Yum! Sunday will likely be a walk along the beach before driving home :-)

Just back from my friend's birthday in Epping, a real TOWIE pub, but hilarious.
Tomorrow, choir then the XFM All Dayer at the Barfly in Camden. Yay.
Sunday - bugger all.

12 years a slave was very good though, and worthy of all the praise it's been getting.

I feel your pain, even with the Migraleve pinks I end up pretty much writing a day off. I was meant to be going to join a knitting/crochet group this afternoon, one which is in a cabin in a field. Rain and mud = DC joining in another group holding meetings in a nice warm pub.

Good plan changing your knitting group. A nice warm pub v cabin in a filed. No brainer!

This afternoon was spent eating chicken liver pate and buying lovely food at Balgove Larder I was there on Sunday. Coffee and the homemade brownie (which was disappointingly overcooked). I did buy a few things from the shop, since it is impossible to resist. I always end up spending ridiculous amounts in the shop. I go every week to buy the raw sourdough pizza bases, and end up with fudge, sausages, roast beef, scotch egg for my hubby, scones and numerous other stuff. The savoury food in the cafe is fab but the cakes are a bit hit or miss. Scones are fab though usually. Do you live in the area? Kitschnbake in Newport has bloody amazingly good cakes!
