The first boarder I met (apart from Steve - ohdannyboy obv :-) ) was Gina at SG17. Gina had a sunflower badge on her bag so I asked if she was going to the secret gig. it turned out that practically everyone in the pub was there for the gig.

That was my first meet up too. I think the first people I met were Nic + Mads in the pub toilet when I very nervously asked them if they were here for the secret gig. ( Oh it's good to be back on here )

I'm fairly sure it was DC too. I'm struggling with my timeline, but I think it was Nov 2004 when they did a Liverpool gig in the Royal Court (no longer a music venue), and a signing in HMV (no longer there). Loads of people me up then in Doctor Duncan's round the corner from the Royal Court.

I can't remember whether I met you or Clarkee first - did you come to the Mariott Hotel over the road from the Royal Court? I also remember the Doctor Duncan, and meeting Andy while he looked on with a 'they're all weirdos' look in his eye. Later on that evening I also met Gemma and Dewi, Sue, Greg and Steve77 for the first time too.

And Pete V too. I didn't go to the Marriot, I was waiting on HMV steps frozen to the core in my gig jumper cause I hate taking a coat to a gig. :-) I still have my gig jumper.

The lovely LM, at a rather cool pub in London. Shortly followed by Mash and retlivdead. AND I met the large guy from The Office, so a good night all in all.

It was Quote, at that crazy hotel a lot of us stayed in for SG17, what was the name of it again? Very Fawlty Towers! I was bricking myself with nerves as I didn't know anyone, Quote was really friendly and made us feel relaxed. Then I met Denise and DC, and everyone else Good times

Last time I went was to see Mark Thomas and it was weird, some stalls seating, some table seating, then up a bit to small tables and bar stools....it's been done up inside since so don't know how it looks now. Manics was my last gig there. Fittingly.
