I need to listen to the John Grant album more, I bought it a while ago but just listen to the same few songs over and over. Certainly worth investing your time in. There's a song on this album which makes we want to murder people "Why dont you love me anymore". Its awful. So hard to listen to as the melody doesnt change all the way through. I'd like to have some kind of psychoanalysis done on its effect on people if they were to listen to it a lot. I cant. I have to turn it off.

Do you know his older stuff? Sorry Wolla, only just found about this notifications thing! I had already got 'Here's to taking it easy' which is great, but I don't have anything else beyond that. Didn't he do an album of Dylan covers or something once?

Have to admit I've not been on top of much new music in the past 12 months but two albums that stand out are ....
Imagine Dragons - Night Visions Kodaline - In a perfect world

Haim - Days Are Gone
Kanye West - Yeezus
If you've heard any of the hype about Haim, believe it. They just flat out write great songs, and they play real tight, like a band that's been together for decades. She & Him's Volume Three was a disappointment for me, and the jury's still out on Neko Case - The Worse Things Get...
