I've missed threads like this. I think mine are: Fuck Buttons - Slow Focus Steve Mason - Monkey Minds In the Devil's Time Pet Shop Boys - Electric I'm sure I'll change my mind about this, I think there's been a lot of good stuff this year.

It seemed to get a bit of a rough ride in some reviews but I thought it was really good, a perfect contrast to Electric.

Hadn't paid much attention to PSB in years, hearing Axis drew me back in.

Jimmy Eat World Biffy Clyro (I THINK that was this year) The Dangerous Summer As much as I love JEW (great in Manchester last week, even if the crowd weren't), the new album still isn't doing a lot for me. Probably their weakest.

I haven't bought an album in sooo long. I'm buying Rewind The Film this week. Looking forward to having time to listen to new music in the very near future.

I need to listen to the John Grant album more, I bought it a while ago but just listen to the same few songs over and over.

I'm buying Rewind The Film this week. Listening to this right now. It's very good. Very autumnal. There was an interesting interview with Nicky Wire on the Guardian Music Weekly Podcast last week, which is worth a listen: Link

Rewind The Film reminds me of This Is My Truth Tell Me Yours except it's good.

Kanye's album Bell X1 - Chop Chop Vampire Weekend - Modern Vampires of the City
(Good Kid, M.A.A.D City by Kendrick Lamar is the album I've possibly listened to most this year but I think it was released 2012)
