I guess there aren't any real football fans on here judging by the lack of response to your thread....or maybe just Scottish football fans?!!

Oh this is nice. I thought this "one for the ladies" was going to be all fluffy bunnies, celebs, make up etc etc and was almost going to head over to the football thread and mix with the "blokes". Sorry I am not trying to be stereotypical, just got pessimistic about "ladies" subject matter. You know when you go into a newsagents, for example, the music mags are often with the "blokes" mags. I am a football fan but more a fan of various teams as I like to watch a so-called good match. Football Focus is one of my favourite TV programmes.
Tonight I watched Napoli v Swansea and was disappointed that Swansea tried so hard but didn't get through.
As for all time greatest 11, not sure, and i don't know what positions they all play. However, might include Suarez, Gerrard, Thierry Henry, M.Owen (when he was younger!), Pele, Eusabio(?), B.Moore, Best, Shilton - but what do I know???

Shilton
Anderson Walker Burns Pearce
Stone Keane McGovern Robertson
Collymore Clough I don't know/care enough about world football to pick one so here's my Forest 11.

I'd have Birtles on the bench, Francis is a tough one because he didn't really set the world on fire at Forest but having said that he did score the most important goal in our history.

Could have added Mcmahon Beardsley Dave Johnson to your list Floody... All had great spells with Everton. McMahon was brilliant when he broke into the team but burnt his bridges when he went to Villa. Beardsley is one of the few players who is still respected by all of his former clubs. There are not many who have crossed the park that can say that. Why he was sold back to Newcastle for £1million after being player of the season is a mystery? David Johnson was awful when he came back to Everton for his 2nd spell but selling him to Ipswich in the first place was one of the worst deals Everton ever did. We got Rod Belfitt who would be top of most Evertonians list of worst ever players. To be fair I could also have picked Paul Gascoine or David Ginola but they were well passed their prime when they signed. Nick Barmby? Er....perhaps not.
