I have looked but can't find any acoustic - easy - tabs for Embrace. I am just learning so it needs to be the main chords, NOT F!!! lol. Any ideas?

Can someone tab out Richard's "I wrote her letters..." part from Nature's Law please?

Are Rik's tutorials too hard to follow?
I'm thinking about learning a bit. Anyone have any advice on easy Embrace songs to play?

Now You're Nobody is a good place to start if you play picking (dunno the chords), a really enjoyable and satisfying one to get right and fairly intuitive.
May have to go pick up a guitar now!

Trying to play the main riff from Over but looking at the Secret Weekend video it looks like Rick is playing some notes on the 7th fret - how's the guitar supposed to be tuned for this one?

www.dropbox.com/sh/w47nwsyiizjbcwk/be-UNjvbEMHere you go, all of the old H&L ones. To be honest I would just do a Google search for "embrace over tab" or "embrace over chords" as most of them are available on the guitar tab websites. Pretty sure Over is standard tuning.

The only thing I never got was how to play Wonder so that it sounded like it did on the record. According to the tab notes "Mickey plays the intro twiddley bits on a guitar tuned to B (down 5 frets)". I definitely tried that but still couldn't quite get it to work.

I want to get an electric guitar, and was wondering which is the most 'Richard-sounding' one I could get for around £500?

I don't know much about electric guitars, but here's a list of Richard's equipment - it's from a while back though, so it's probably not up to date. www.hamptonplace.com/tonedepot/settings/musrm.php

I've discovered to my delight that Retread is exceptionally easy. Found a tab on ultimate-guitar.com.

I have tried playing ashes and fireworks, the bridge of fireworks gets me tangled and I tried playing ashes not how it was recorded and discovered that I should find a place to shamefully hide as it didn't match their version

I just put in a search for ashes and it came up with a number of sites that tabbed it out, they didn't include the end of bar riffs though just the chords

Thanks for the gear updates Mark!
I tried out a Gibson Les Paul Junior in Dawsons today. I really liked it, and it was on sale for £449 - I'm very tempted! The guy in the shop also recommended a Roland Cube-20GX. Any thoughts on these?

3 easy embrace songs - make it last, retread (though original is tuned down) and the good will out. Just use ultimate guitar tab site. Also, whilst struggling with f just play the other f (fadd9?) - just c but with 2 middle fingers each down a string. I'm shit at guitar btw so not really sure why I'm offering advice, ha! Happy plucking.
