Hi,
VERY GEEKY QUESTION FOLLOWS!
I'm currently in a debate on another website (discogs.com) about the physical releases of MYINOYB. I remember the CDs being released as CD1 and CD2, with the 2nd CD being Part 1 of the Abbey Road Sessions (which is really confusing the matter). I'm convinced I read a pre-release postcard sent out to the mailing list detailing info about this too, but all of my postcards are buried in an attic. Can anyone please dig out their copy or any other actual adverts/posters and upload them please? (Please cover up your address though).
Much obliged!
-m.

Hi -m, You've got me confused now...weren't the Abbey Rd sessions 2 separate things entirely? I'm no completist but I do have both of those, together with the CD single of My weakness... (b-sides Feelings I thought you shared, and Don't turn your back on love). My postcards are all stored away somewhere too, most likely at my parents' house. Tom

I agree with you, but I don't have any physical evidence. And I probably only agree with you because I've read the wiki page for MWINOYB before, which agrees with you too: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/My_Weakness_Is_None_of_Your_Business

Yup. Cd1 and Cd2. Abbey Sessions 2 is a separate release.

Thanks guys. Wikipedia isn't really a strong enough source in this case as it's (ironically similar to discogs) a user editable site. However, discogs does work on sourced info. Does anyone know of (besides the mail outs/posters) books or other sites that contain this info? It must have happened if we all agree on it but I need proof!!

Interesting conundrum. The cat nos (and the fact that MWINOYB and AR1 were released on the same day) do suggest these as cd 1 and cd 2, though not necessarily part of a "complete set", for example one fits in the other, like some of their other releases, especially from the second album. Interestingly enough I can't remember if any of those releases have cd 1 or cd 2 physically on them, are these in question too? They certainly do compliment one another and follow the cat. no. pattern of the preceding and later releases with an X on them, denoting cd 2. What about the title of the AR CD? I don't have it to hand but it carries MWINOFYB as a title doesn't it? Where as AR2 is just that if my memory serves. What does this discogs site say about CD1 and CD2? Surely a contributor based site has rules to adhere to? Like the other posters on here I also have a mailing list postcard but I can't remember where I put it. I have a vague recollection of it detailing these as cd 1 and cd 2 like most bands used to have a preference of doing.

Thanks again for the comments everyone.
I've been on another band forum about a similar issue and they posted up inks to a couple of fan pages and even web archives. I've googled but can't easily find any on embrace. Any ideas?
