I'll be attending this one with my wife. We have a weekend away with friends booked, but plans changed when this was announced, so we'll be turning up late for the break!

In case you've never visited.....! The Academy isn't a great location in Glasgow, but it's only about 10 mins walk from the city centre. Depending on which kind of bars/food you like, there are a few options. The bits I tend to frequent would involve a short taxi journey (probably about £5-£10). For the trendy folks, you'd look to go to Merchant City. Merchant Square has a variety of pubs and restaurants and there's usually a nice relaxed atmosphere. www.merchantsquareglasgow.com/I'm more likely to head towards the west end of the city, meaning a slightly longer cab ride, but still not too far. A couple of favourites on Argyle St. The Brass Monkey - www.thebrassmonkeyglasgow.co.uk/ and Lebowski's (this place does nice food too) www.lebowskis.co.uk/lebowskis-glasgow.phpOf course, there are literally hundreds of options in Glasgow, so if there's anything specific anyone is trying to find - just shout!

I have a ticket (General Admission) to get rid of (face value only of course) and also have a return train ticket to Manchester (leaving Friday late morning, returning to Manchester mid-day) I can throw in if anyone is interested.

I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it, but it'll be a late call and I'd like to. If I'm there, we'll shout drunkenly at some songs.

Nothing for me yet Alan. I'd maybe expect them about 2 weeks before, but give me another 3 days and I'll start questioning if they've been sent to my old address.....!
