We all think of Paul often. Always with a smile and a happy memory. I'll raise a glass this evening.

I shall raise a glass to him. I unfortunately never met Loon but I do remember him from the old messageboard.

Paul was just a lovely, kind, charming and funny man. If he could help you out he would. Lots of little things in my life will always remind me of him. Guiness, fish fingers, The Smiths & Puressence to name but a few. Sadly missed by all who knew him x

Great guy, had many a chat about football with Paul. Glad I'm not in London anymore because a London gig without him wouldn't be the same. I'll have a drink for him.

Morrissey sung 'there is a light that never goes out' and when Paul first went I thought he was wrong. As it turns out the self opinionated pillock wasn't - there isn't a person who met Loon that doesn't remember him with great love, affection and a big grin on their face. We've all got our Loon stories. Mine started with a Brownie, followed by the doctored sugar bowl in the Heliot and kept on going with daftness and decimated gladioli. There was too much light in him to ever go out.
I wish the daft sod was with us in more than memory.

Paul 'Loon' is so fondly remembered by all who had the pleasure of meeting him. Glass in hand and a big grin on his face is how I will always remember him.
The next round of gigs will be very bittersweet.

I have many fond memories of a man who never failed to make me smile. One of the most vivid is a night out with the gang to see the Smyths. Never have so many gladioli been swung around and demolished by people having so much fun! Close second involves anything with the ridiculously long scarf. There is a light that never goes out. xx

Glass in hand and a big grin on his face is how I will always remember him. This is the image I have when I think of him. I didn't know him as well as a lot of you, I only met him a few times but he certainly was a lovely bloke who has left an empty space behind.

I thought Paul was wonderful, though I only met him three or four times. He had all the qualities of a gentleman: warmth, kindness, humour, stoicism and much more. I remember his laughter, his smile and his enthusiasm. I also remember him talking right into my ear during the louder moments at gigs. I could seldom hear what he was saying, but I'd find myself nodding along, catching his enthusiasm and feeling his joy in the moment. My close friend Simon (a non Embrace boarder) also met him at a Patrick Wolf gig once, which I didn't attend, though James did I hear that Paul spent much of the gig jumping around with my friend Simon, who naturally thought Paul was great, too. He was a sheer joy to be around.

Ah my daft pal loon ! He was one of those rare gents that restored your faith in people
He was akind, silly, funny and a passionate soul. We got into so much mischief together I wouldn't know where to begin.
I can't ever explain how much I miss him every day and wish he was here talking about all the things that have happened in the last 12 months .
If losing him has thaught us anything it's to be a bit more like him - be a little more kind to people - less judgemental - be more silly - single louder and most of all don't suffer alone !
The last band we saw together was the Avett brothers to quote them "BE LOUD LET YOOR COLOURS SHOW "
Missed everyday but never forgotten xxx

A special bloke - had some great nights (and full days) at gigs with him. Always a good laugh even though he supported the wrong team as we used to wind each other up about Going to very weird on the next tour without him. RIP mate x

Well I'm fairly sure most London gigs I would look across the crowds heads and no matter wherever we were we would catch each others eyes and each acknowledge each and the music.
R. I. P
And the shepherds Bush gig won't be quite the same but you will be in a large amount of the crowds thoughts.

My lovely daft friend, who I miss every day.
So much great music has happened in the last 12 months, it's like all your favourite bands got together and decided to release stuff and tour.
Silly sausage.
