Blackpool Tower Ballroom, I'd guess it was 2000? Not sure of date but Coldplay were the support band.

Think it was SG17 in 2004. Same as Debs, first gig, met a load of you lot and met the band in the same evening. I was only a baba then, seems like a very, very long time ago.

I didn't get to my email in time either so missed out too if that's any consolation. There really is nothing like seeing them live hopefully you'll get the chance soon.

(I'm from Yorkshire originally, been here since 2004) We're up to a whopping eight known Embrace fans in North America by my count. Surely enough for a tour

First gig was the Drawn From Memory launch at Hanover Grand. I'd been a fan since AYGGP came out but this was the first gig I went to after moving to London and the internet was new so tickets were fairly easy to get. Was supposed to see them at Glastonbury in '97 but the stage sank meaning they didn't get to play.
I've seen Embrace play a whole host of different venues in that time ranging from festivals (Reading 2000, V2004) to the Royal Albert Hall to a tiny gig for XFM competition winners to the forest gigs on the last tour and each one has been delightful. I'm just glad they won't be big enough to command an arena crowd when they're back cos I hate arena gigs. Somewhere like Manchester Ritz would be nice.

My first Embrace gig was the 14th of Dec, 2013. That's right, #SG20. Well, they never toured Australia! Lol! Oh my, what a gig. There will be tales told of that one for years to come!

Quite a while ago now - it was at Manchester Roadhouse in May 97. It was a real hot and sweaty little place, can't have been more than about 100 people there

Northampton Roadmenders Feb '97 opening up for the Longpigs. I remember Danny getting a bit upset with a few ignorant people at the front toward the end of the set....and I'm certain a microphone stand went into the crowd! Never forget the pre gig drink at a pub round the corner, only time a pub en masse has turned stared with a dart stopping mid-air....definitely a local pub for local people

My first time of seeing them was at Portsmouth Guildhall, in about 2004/2005 I think, I have seen them at Bedgebury Pinetum since, but my sister did not think much of them. I hope they come back this year because I have missed Danny's voice so so much. I've got a feeling the new album may be called Dark Horse.

(I'm from Yorkshire originally, been here since 2004) We're up to a whopping eight known Embrace fans in North America by my count. Surely enough for a tour I got into Embrace in the fall of 2005, when on the bus home from a high school football game, one of my best friends shared his earbuds with me and played three songs: Why Does It Always Rain On Me? by Travis, Marching Bands of Manhattan by Death Cab for Cutie, and Ashes. I fell in love with Ashes, went home, found some site that had full versions of Ashes, Gravity, and Someday on it, played them nonstop for the next month or so until my parents bought me Out of Nothing for Christmas, and the rest is history. And I also became a pretty hard lurker on the old forum haha. At the time I figured I'd have plenty of chances to see them live, cause they'd just done an American tour! I was obviously incorrect haha. I'm gonna try to put some money together for these Scottish gigs though, pretty excited.
